Hello Simon, hello Stefan,

I mean: it only occurs in directories which contain only linked repositories (externals). In our case: We use for our software 6 Repositories. (one for Data, one for the Programs, one for the database objects etc.) To handle this we created a top directory which hasn't got entries in it. The directory only got in the SVN Properties the declaration of externals which point to directories of the different repositories.
So if you check out the top directory you get subdirectories which are pointing direct to entries in the different repositories.

Now the case we need a solution for:
Starting the Repo-browser on the Top-directory (with only externals in the properties) causes a popup window which asks for Authentication:
<https://.....:443> Subversion Repository
Requests username and a password.......

Our repository-server is a internal server which hasn't got a web (http/https) interface (security)

By canceling this window causes the popup of the same window and showing of his subdirectories (the externals). Only by closing the Repo-browser window and afterwards closing the popup authentication this endless loop stops (but also the windows explorer task).

If I do not start the repo-browser but enter the top directory and start the Repo-browser on one of the subdirectories which are created with the externals, the Repo-browser works fine (without authentication).

Also the setting of the option given by Stefan Küng doesn't work.

I hope you can reproduce this case now.

Paul
