TortoiseMerge 1.8.1 reads ascii characters 0x0C and 0x0B as newline

Hi,

if i open an ASCII file in TortoiseMerge 1.8.1 ( Build 24570 - 64 Bit , 2013/07/22 18:28:29 ) that contains the characters 0x0B (vertical tab) or 0x0C (form feed)
they get replaced with a CRLF.

I attached a file that contains such characters
