MSVCR100.dll errors on Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server after Tortoise SVN installation

Hello everyone,

I have got a problem with Tortoise SVN 1.7.10.23359-x64.
After the installation on a Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server the file
MSVCR100.dll seems to be missing/not properly registered/corrupted.

When I try to install new software via "Control Panel -> Install
Software on the Terminal Server" I receive an error message that the
above mentioned file could not be found. I can install software, though,
by ignoring the error message.
Also, sporadically, the explorer context menu entries for Tortoise SVN
are gone, as well as the icons which display the state of versioned
files.

I compared the DLL file contained in the Tortoise SVN installer and the
one provided by Microsoft via the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable
(http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=14632). I do
not know if that is the cause of the problem but they are different. The
one you serve with the Tortoise SVN package seems to be newer.

One thing I already tried is reinstalling the Visual C++ 2010
Redistributable which solves the problem temporarily (no more error
messages, icons are back). However the problem reoccurs without any
effort on my part (no installation, no modification, no reboot).

When I remove Tortoise SVN from the computer completely the problem is
solved, as well, and does not reoccur.

This is why I am posting to this mailing list hoping that anyone might
have a clue to what is going wrong or what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated!
