Yes,

There is one directory that I changed from versioned to unversioned. Before unversioning it had a green check mark. After unversioning it *still* had a green check mark. After running cleanup (with the refresh shell overlays option clicked), it briefly flashed to a minus sign icon then back to a green check mark.
