I just wanted to ask if this help request had reached the user community
ok because it was my first ever post to this group.
Happy if nobody thinks they can help, just though there was an
opportunity for the request to not have reached anyone.

Hi,
Have a product structure that look like the below :-
DESIGN_FOLDER
-------Module A
-------Module B
-------Module C
-------Module D
The DESIGN_FOLDER has external properties to import say Modules A and B
into the design folder. The external specifies a specific revision to be
extracted.
I would like to be able to use Tortoise to check if there have been any
repository updates to the externally referenced modules.
If you perform a "check for modifications" on the DESIGN_FOLDER and then
select "check repository" I am informed that there are no changes. If I
perform the same sequence on say Module A I get informed that there is a
later revision available.
Basically I would like to be able to check for updates at the top level
rather than having to check each individual module as there are many
externals.
Is that possible? Am I doing something wrong ?
