luminance is the correct spelling. hue/saturation/luminance is an
alternative model to RGB colours. An alternative term to luminance would
be colour brightness. Even MS-Paint allows you to define a colour with
HSL instead of RGB.

A "peg revision" is a fixed revision number attached to a SVN operation
to identify something in time (not in space). See

Think of a file_at_revision. file=identification in space, @revision =
identification in time. I translated it with "fixed" revision in German.
The literal translations sound funny.

Don't know if this term is actually used in TSVN or if it's just
imported via a library. I think this refers to the way an object appears
on screen. Think of a slideshow presenting its images in different
fashions. Blending, sweeping in from the side, unfold from the center, ...
