Committing with Comments (Copy to Clipboard Checkbox)

Hello

Would it be possible to add a checkbox to the "Message" area within the
Commit Dialogue Box that allows a user to 'copy message to clipboard'.

By that I mean that it is very frustrating to enter a description of
what work has been carried out, only to find that someone has beaten you
to the commit. You are now out of date and need to update prior to
commit - therefore losing your comments in the process. I appreciate
that some people would not want this functionality as they may have
important information in the clipboard. If its state could be
remembered from the previous commit, that would be even better.
