The full list of revisions will be shown in the log if the server at first cannot be contacted.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Disable connection to SVN server (e.g., pull out your network cable)
2) Right-click on some folder/file that has a long history and select "Show log"
3) "Want to go offline popup?" appears - click "Cancel"
4) At the top of the window, the from-to range now shows 12/31/1969 to 12/31/1969
5) Re-connect to SVN server (e.g., plug in network cable)
6) Click "Refresh" in log window
7) From-to range will change to something like 4/1/2009 to 4/1/2009, where "4/1/2009" is the date of the first revision for the folder/file you are looking at
8) ALL of the revisions for that folder/file will be shown
Another slight variation:
1) Disable connection to SVN server (e.g., pull out your network cable)
2) Right-click on some folder/file that has a long history and select "Show log"
3) "Want to go offline popup?" appears - click "Cancel"
4) At the top of the window, the from-to range now shows 12/31/1969 to 12/31/1969
5) Click "Refresh" in log window
6) The from-to range now shows 2/7/2106 to 12/31/1969
7) Re-connect to SVN server (e.g., plug in network cable)
8) Click "Refresh" in log window
9) From-to range will change to something like 4/1/2009 to 12/11/2009, where "4/1/2009" is the date of the first revision for the folder/file you are looking at and "12/11/2009" is the date of the last revision
10) ALL of the revisions for that folder/file will be shown
I am using version 1.6.6, Build 17493.
