In a big company with hundreds of users, you have a lot more resources
at your disposal than Stefan does. Supporting multiple versions
simultaneously is not an easy task for a "small shop".

But wouldn't you have to go through this same process with a new 1.5.x
release too?

> We really appreciate your work, Stefan. TortoiseSVN really helps us to bring Subversion to those people who don't like the command line (and they are the majoritiy in our company). But as long as the Subversion project supports 1.5.x it would be great to have such a support also for TortoiseSVN, despite of the effort for a release.

With any Open Source project, the best ways to get something that
meets your specific desires/requirements that isn't presently being
done are to contribute it yourself, or fund the effort.
