V1.6.1 error when committing added files

Since I upgraded to 1.6.1 I am getting errors when I try to commit after adding files to the directory.

Error: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow:
Error: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow):
Error: In directory 'M:\Aurora\Imaging IBO\HelpFiles\TransDoc'
Error: Error processing command 'committed' in 'M:\Aurora\Imaging IBO\HelpFiles\TransDoc'
Error: Can't move 'M:\Aurora\Imaging
Error: IBO\HelpFiles\TransDoc\.svn\props\transdoc.hmx.svn-work' to 'M:\Aurora\Imaging
Error: IBO\HelpFiles\TransDoc\.svn\prop-base\transdoc.hmx.svn-base': Access is denied.

This is happening because the files in .svn/props are being created as read-only files. Changing the file permissions to read-write solves the problem. Even so, I should have to be doing this manually.

I didn't have this problem with 1.4.x.

How can I fix this?
