To do this Subversion would have to constantly contact the repository
and ask which files have changed, so this isn't done. The status icons
only show whether you've changed the file vs. the version that was
checked out from the repository.

To check if anything has since changed in the repository, use the "Check
for modifications" dialog and it's "Check repository" button.
