Context menu takes a long time to pop up on desktop and Windows explorer

Hi,

I've just updated our Subversion server to 1.5.5 and my Tortoise SVN
client to 1.5.6.
Everything is going right except one thing : the time it takes for the
context menu to pop up, around 10 seconds. I never noticed such a low
performance with Tortoise 1.4.8.
Another thing : if I use the context menu in the very few seconds
following this so long pop up, the context menu is immediate (sounds
like something is cached). If I do something else for 15 seconds,
another 10 seconds are needed to dispay the menu.

I strongly suspect Tortoise to be the cause of this unproductive
effect :
- I noticed this problem since I upgraded
- I've downloaded http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html and
disabled Tortoise SVN context menu entries : my issue magically
disappeared
- Then enabled everything again : context menu takes again 10 seconds
to pop up

Does anyone noticed the same bahaviour or should I consider another
cause for my problem?
