Overlays don't update on commit

I have been noticing a problem recently - I THINK it's been since downloading the latest version - and I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem.

Running Tortoise SVN 1.5.5 Build 14361 - 32 bit, on Windows XP, SP2

Whenever I commit, the red exclamation mark icons do not change to the green checkmark. Even refreshing the folder view doesn't make them change.

Then I do an update. The red icon on the folder I updated still doesn't change after the update. Next, I open that folder, and everything in it has NO overlay icons for a few seconds. After a couple seconds, the green checkmarks appear.

So, in order to keep my overlay icons visually up to date, I have to do an update immediately after every commit.

Anyone else experience that?
