As long as the mouse pointer is shown as an hourglas, clicking on
controls won't do anything.

If you don't want to wait after the files are shown before you can
click, you can set the "Timout in seconds to stop the auto-completion
parsing" to a lower number, or disable the auto-completion parsing
completely (checkbox above).
