RE: Commit dialog - Select/Deselect checkbox all isn't working for me in TortoiseSVN 1.5.3 on Windows XP 64

Let me be a bit more specific. Here are the states in the Commit dialog as I observe them:

1) Dialog comes up - there is a pause while it determines what files have changed.
        During this time - the hourglass is displayed.
        The checkbox for Show Unversioned Files is disabled.
        The Select/Deselect checkbox is enabled and is an indeterminate state
        (completely filled in - not checked).

2) The list of modified files is displayed. The hourglass cursor becomes a regular cursor.
        The checkbox for Show Unversioned Files is still disabled.
        The checkbox for Select/Deselect All is checked, and all of the listed files are checked.
        It is at this point I try to deselect all and nothing happens.

3) The checkbox for Show Unversioned Files is now enabled.
        Now the checkbox for Select/Deselect all works as expected.

There is no hourglass when the dialog first comes up.
The files are shown - but while Show unversioned files checkbox is disabled, the select/deselect all checkbox does not work.

The work-around you suggested does work. Is that why the dialog is no responsive to the select/deselect checkbox - because the auto-completion parser is initializing itself with a list of the files that you may refer to in the comment field?

I still feel this is a bug - albeit minor. A dialog has come up, there is a checkbox control which is enabled, and when I click on it, it does nothing. Later, when another checkbox is enabled, it works properly.

As long as the mouse pointer is shown as an hourglas, clicking on controls won't do anything.

If you don't want to wait after the files are shown before you can click, you can set the "Timout in seconds to stop the auto-completion parsing" to a lower number, or disable the auto-completion parsing completely (checkbox above).
