Tortoise just closes - all the dialog windows. Windows itself remains stable. The flow is click the network tab - the proxy settings flash and the window immediately closes. The only time it crashes is when I click that tab as well.

You get the windows crash dialog, don't you?

I've tried those values, and they don't make the network tab in the
settings dialog crash at all. So I doubt that those are the reason for
the crash.
