Question about TortoiseSVN GUI

I'm thinking about using TortoiseSVN as an image database/version control
system for IsoDraw-illustrations (Illustrated CAD-drawings). Unfortunutaly
there are no image databases with support for IsoDraw illustration (at least
what I know of).

I have a lot of illustrations and I wish to set metadata to each drawing
that I can find them easily.

Can I do that using the Subversion "properties"? E.g. set a property "size"
as small, medium or large. Can I set a property using the TortoiseSVN GUI in
Windows Explorer?

Can I then use TortoiseSVN to search for each property. (The searches here
in the email archive suggests that I can't search for properties using
TortoiseSVN.)

If I can't search for the properties, can I instead set up the Windows
Explorer columns to show those properties that I'm interested in? See bottom
of this page:
http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ExplorerIntegration.html#contextmenus. That
way I can at least see what properties each illustration has attached.

If you think I go about this the wrong way, please point me in the right
direction. ;)

Thanks for your help!

Best regards,
/Kenneth
