1) I found that tracker, but as it reads on that page "Issues can only
be entered into the tracker by members of the TortoiseSVN development
team." - so I cannot post.
2) The repository is exactly as you describe, having early revisions
from 2008 and later revisions from 2000-2007. The reason is that it is
a merger from different, old CVS repositories. I admit that this is
not the most common usage case, but it can happen - and it is not a
fault as SVN does not enforce date sorting on the revisions. The dates
are revision properties, nothing else.
