RE: TortoiseSVN 1.4.5 caused Windows Explorer hang

Windows Explorer just hung for me also.

I believe this because the task manager said that the Windows Explorer application was not responding.

Windows wouldn't let me do anything else either (like start a browser).

After waiting for a few minutes, I couldn't wait any longer, and I tried to kill the process from the task manager.

It was the TSVNCache.exe process that would not quit.

I am using TSVN 1.4.5 on Windows XP with SP2.

A) Is there anything I can do to help analyze/debug this problem?
B) Should I just kill the TSVNCache.exe process from the task manager next time?
Obviously, I can't stop it nicely by selecting a different caching option if Windows Explorer is hung
(since I need it to invoke the TSVN context menus).

Thanks,
Chuck
