Good morning, Chris.

As Lubbe points out, you really haven't given us enough information so that
we can be very helpful in diagnosing the problem.

That said, though, when I first installed Subversion, SmartSVN, and
TortoiseSVN (we tried Smart first before converting to Tortoise), I did it
by carefully reading the Subversion book and doing EXACTLY what it said
there. There were a few teething pains that the folks here helped me
solve, but for the most part it Just Worked.

Where are you located? Perhaps one of the listmembers here might be able
and willing to provide you with a little one-on-one assistance if there is
one in your neighborhood.
