I encourage you to rethink whether you'd actually gain in either the
lazieness or simplicity categories using such a remote desktop
file://-based connection.

Setting up svnserve in its simplest form will take all of 5 minutes,
while offerring more features and potentially much better performance
(lazieness!) if you're connecting over the WAN (as I presume RD
implies). By using the svn:// protocol you'll never need to wory about
mapping drives to the right place either (simplicity!).
