RE: Re: tortoiseplink error

OK - I changed it to use plink instead of tortoise plink & it comes up with "Invalid Port Number".
When I use the same key using putty.exe on it's own everything works OK i.e. I get "( success ( 1 2 ( ANONYMOUS EXTERNAL ) ( edit-pipeline ) ) ) " appearing in the shell (I've put path/svnserve -t into putty.exe as a remote command).
I'm a little unclear how the subversion server process should be started - I put "svnserve -t" to execute as a remote command but elsewhere on the net I found info. which said you should edit (in the case of TRU64) the .ss2/authorization file to have command=path/svnserve -t

So to sum up basically within tortoisesvn I'm not sure which port it's looking for (I installed svn on the unix box with the default settings).

Try using 'plink' instead of 'TortoisePlink' in TSVN's settings. That
way you get to see the error messages. Testing plink on its own is not
enough, you have to test it when working within TSVN.
