Make sure you have IPv6 disabled on your unix box - Subversion doesn't
use IPv6 correctly right now (I know someone posted a patch for that,
but I'm not sure if it has been committed yet).

Since this is a problem of server setup/ssh client configuration, I
suggest you get the Subversion command line client and try to get it
working with that one (I guess you'll get the same errors). But then you
can ask on the Subversion mailing list - they know much more about how
to set up servers on unix than we do here.
