And what good would voting be? I bet if you put up a proposal that the
government should supply free beer, everyone would vote for it. And
how much difference would that make?

We had the tracker open for comment for a while and it didn't work out
because it is not a good place to discuss this sort of question. But
that is exactly what the mailing lists are for.
