This issue only seems to happen when I do an update from a specific
directory in my working copy. Very odd. Below is the last status log I got.
I can manually update *any* subdirectory except the Newton one (see the log
below) and everything works perfectly. Once I do an update on Newton,
though, it fails. I'll see if I can narrow it down even further to a leaf
directory.

This is starting to look like a Subversion bug to me.
