Yeah I know, I said it jokingly :) I suspected you were talking about either
firewalls or malware.

So can you give me your personal opinion as to why SVN Update would be
killing my access to the server itself? Also, the error I'm getting now
(every time I update) is:

Command: Update
Error: GET of
Error:
'/subversion/!svn/bc/539/development/trunk/projects/Newton/Art/NeutronStar.png':

Error: could not connect to server (http://coonass)
Finished!:

When the error finally appears or when I close the update dialog, I'm
magically able to connect to the server again (and by connect to the server
I mean access the Jabber server, network shares, etc).
