feature request

Hello,

I have a little small feature request to ask for ! I think this can help
newbie and "in the rush" peoples as well ...
In the companies where I'm working actually, people are making strong use of
"switch" to work on multi branch, and sometimes, they forget to revert the
switch or they though they have done their "switch back".
So often, they have commit that go to the bad branch.

The idea of the feature is a simple checkbox, to enable/alert/confirm
protection agains commit to multi branch.

I know it can be done within the server with hookscript (I've done this) but
it would be simplier to have an setting option.
