Fixed in revision 9309.

I think that's only on Win2k where the list control doesn't have those.
They show up perfectly fine on XP (but of course only if you sort - the
default sorting by path isn't shown in the header).

Without some more info on how to reproduce this, I can't fix it. I've
tried for 5 minutes browsing like mad and couldn't get it to do that.
