Questions about SAMBA mounts and TortoiseSVN

Hi,

I know that the ReadDirectoryChangesW() call is not supported by SAMBA so
overlays don't work on samba mounts.

My question now: is it planned to develop an alternate way of detecting file
changes as the slow but working method used by tortoiseCVS ?

So we can choose to use the method using ReadDirectoryChangesW() or the
other one that makes tortoiseSVN compatible with SAMBA shares.

Cordialement,
