This bug should be fixed in your version:
http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2006-06/0065.shtml
(The Subversion guys fixed this in revision r20395 and backported it to
the 1.4.x branch).

If this isn't fixed completely, can you maybe reproduce this problem?
What are the svn:eol-style properties on your file?
