I see. So there should be multiple round ones if there are multiple
branches?

Yes, even if there was no copy. Many of the revisions shown had other
files added in them, but not all. None were copies after the original
one.

Sorry. A typical case of the typing being out of sync with the thinking.
Let me try again:

- When toggling "Show all revisions" (that works well btw) on a revgraph
on a typical /trunk with many tags, the round box changes from being on
the head version to the first-ever-version.
That is:
With "Show all revisions" deselected rev 418 (the latest) is shown
round.
With "Show all revisions" selected rev 1 is shown round.
