The company I work for has Win2K on some 15k PC's. These are new machines (
meaning < 3 years ). Most of the PC's only run internal web applications, so
there is no need to change a platform that's stable and tested.
Most of the 400 devs use Win2K as well ( some WinXP on the laptops ), but they
have local admin rights.
I don't think there are plans to upgrade the first two years to XP/Vista.
We choose TortoiseSVN because it's the best tool for the job, and very easy
to train people for using it.
I hope you keep taking us - users of TortoiseSVN on ancient OSes :) - into
account when making technology decisions.
