As a wider suggestion, would it be possible in theory, to integrate
TSVN's context menu items into Visual Studio as an option, so that
renaming files and committing can be done without the need of an
explorer window?

It must be easier to perform this integration with TSVN as a base rather
than write a TSVN clone which plugs into VS.NET.

I expect a huge amount of developers that use TSVN also use Visual
Studio regularly and would find this feature useful.

PS: I am aware of Ankh SVN but I found it unusably buggy and unmaintained.
