No, there are normally 2 different MSI files, the standard package and
the modified version for use with VS.NET projects. Look in your working
copy and see whether you have a '.svn' folder or a '_svn' folder. '.svn'
works with the standard package and '_svn' works with the special VS.NET
version only. You cannot mix the two.
