No, I have not renamed them.

Yes, I have to call "wscript" with "/E:javascript". MAY BE that's
because on my box the "open" action for ".js" files is actually "open
in EditPlus".

And I got this: 'There is no script engine for file extension ".js".'

And again - that's probably due to my settings for JS files.
