I didn't look at anything to do with the cache per se. Sorry, I was
caught off guard and not thinking diagnostically..
The open explorer viewing the WC directory was totally unresponsive.
On the taskbar I could right click on the explorer tab? and click close
and got a dialog box to the effect that this program is not responding
and killed it.
Then opening a new explorer window by clicking on My Computer Icon on
the Desktop brought up a new explorer view and it too was immediately
totally unresponsive and had to be killed via the previous means.
If I laid another form across the explorer window then moved the form.
its image remained on the dead explorer window.
This is on a W2000 box.
