Ok, I really tried to find out why it hangs. But I failed.
Since you have VS.NET, can you build the cache from HEAD, then kill the
already running cache and start the just built HEAD cache in debug mode.
Then get it to hang again. Then, use Debug->break all and Ctrl-C the
call-stack window content of all stopped threads. Maybe that will give
me a clue, because the linenumbers where the two threads are stuck just
don't give me any clue why!
(the call stack from the crawler thread isn't fully visible in the
screenshot, so I assume that line 144 is the place where it's stuck, and
that's the
continue;
line in 2946!!
