Thanks for this. On your first comment: even if I hadn't commits
in week 53, the horizontal axis still should be continuous (and not
skipping weeks). Otherwise reading the graph (with a non-homogeneous
horizontal axis) will be hard, since it almost redefines time
(which is rather homogeneous).
But I sure had commits in week 53, e.g. on Dec. 30, 2004, a normal
working day for me :-(
Second comment: I use Win2000, and my locale is "English (United States)".
Outlook correctly shows week 53 (and indeed has a setting which definition
of "week 1" should be applied), and another application also computes it
correctly. Perhaps these examples compute the week number independently from
O.S. functions for this.
So unless some other person also discovers the same symptom in TortoiseSVN,
perhaps it's just my local installation/setup or just plain non-ISO
8601 compliance of Win2000. Let's see...
