[TSVN] Checkout error

Hi,

I have posted this query before but am posting it again as I have some additional information. In the reply I got from my earlier posting I was advised to use https. However that didn't work.

I am using tortoisesvn version TortoiseSVN 1.1.1, Build 1857, UNICODE on Windows XP.

I am trying to checkout source files from
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/webservices/axis/trunk/java/dev/scratch/prototype2

I am attempting to use this from work. I have configured tortoisesvn to use the company proxy server. The proxy server works correctly as the IE browser is configured to go via it and it works correctly.

I get the following error when I attempt to checkout:
PROPFIND request failed on '/repos/asf/webservices/axis/trunk/java/dev/scratch/prototype2'
PROPFIND of '/repos/asf/webservices/axis/trunk/java/dev/scratch/prototype2'
:could not connect to server (http://svn.apache.org)

I can access the URL http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/webservices/axis/trunk/java/dev/scratch/prototype2 through IE without any problem.

Any idea on how I could overcome this problem.
