I see something similar, but not as bad. Folders are a _lot_ quicker,
especially folders which contain several WC roots.

Within a folder I see an update rate something like 20-25 files per
second. What sort of rate do you see on your laptop, Stefan? I know it
is hard to judge because you are never sure what is in cache, unless you
have just rebooted.

My laptop does a lot of disk thrashing generally (although I do keep it
defragged) so it may not be peculiar to TSVN.
