Actually I should qualify that a bit better. In a WC root folder (with
no sub-folders), the update rate is more like 15/sec in list view and 10
per sec in details view. In WC sub-folders it is about 3 times faster.
In non-root folders there is a bit of a thrash, then all the icons
update at once. But it is definitely faster overall.

Also, at the moment, it seems not to be affected by cache. If I select a
different folder then come back again immediately it is not faster. CPU
usage is 100% while the icons trickle down the explorer pane.

I think I will have to revert to 1.1.1 temporarily to see if I get the
same result as Nicklas.
