Hmm. I thought I rebuilt the whole lot, but clearly I didn't. I'll revert
BaseView.

I had completely missed the existence of the two Utils.cpp files. Is there
some scope for merging them, do you think? They seem to have quite a lot
in common.

Sure. It's a trade-off between ease-of-discussion vs. chance of arriving
intact! There seem to be a lot of SVN patches posted to the list within
messages - I hadn't thought it would get so mangled.

Sending it zipped is no problem.
