Hi Mark,

I am not sure where I got that path from.
I am sure I did "which svn" and simply copy/pasted the response.

None the less when I do it now, I get;
/opt/local/bin as a response.

I have ONLY installed the MacPorts version of SVN 1.7
and svn --version gives;
svn, version 1.7.0 (r1176462)
   compiled Oct 16 2011, 11:26:05

So I am pretty sure, I am talking correctly, now!

I can't make eclipse give me the pop-up window with the error in it on demand...
it is something like;
Subclipse talks to SubVersion via JavaHL
Information on gettinga proper version ...
link http://subclipse.tigris.org/wiki/JavaHL
...

Interestingly, "some" of the decorators (icons) work in the IDE and also the TEAM context menu "seems" to work too. But I cannot actually commit anything.

Despite using the MacPorts version of SVN, since javahl is installed with the Subclipse plugin, why can I not use that?

Or is it the "other" end - the svn end needs to be compatible - and because it is 32-bit - it doesn;t match the Subclipse plugin?

I suppose I am going to have to wait for a 64-bit Mac binary to be created then.

Gavin.
