[Subclipse-users] Difficulty with author name

Hi,

Wanted to alert you to an incredibly annoying problem I had when first
connecting to subversion using subclipse. I supplied an author name like
"First Last". This seems to have made something choke, which made all
attempts to connect to the server fail with some unhelpful message like
"connection unexpectedly closed". Unfortunately that author name was
cached somewhere and I was only able to realize what the problem was and
successfully connect (after a couple of hours of trying all sorts of
things) by reinstalling eclipse and the subclipse plugin.

If it's obvious to you what's going on here, I'd like to suggest you
make a little fix to spare others (who might be less persistent) the
trouble.
