Hello David,
Are you sure the problem was caused by author name, not by other ssh
properties (key file, user name, port, etc)?
When SVNKit is used credentials are cached in "keyring" file
(ECLIPSE_HOME/configuration/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.keyring - deleting
this file will clear credentials cache, so you do not have to reinstall
Eclipse.
