[Subclipse-users] Subversion 1.4

Mark,

Suffice it to say, I have been unable to establish a 1.4 "Working Copy"
formatted .svn files.

I've been checking the .svn/entries file as the indicator ... since the
Subversion site says:

"The way in which the Subversion client manages your working copy has
undergone radical changes. The .svn/entries file is no longer XML, and the
client has become smarter about the way it manages and stores property
metadata."

I've installed v. 1.4 and created new repositories. On the client, I've
replaced the svnjavahl.jar and rejarred the core JAR. I've replaced the
seven (7) dll's. I've deleted the "libdb43.dll" since it appears to have
been replaced by "libdb44.dll". I've run Eclipse with "-clean".

At each step the "entries" file appears to be a valid XML document.

Any additional ideas,
Marvin

The JAR you would need to replace is the svnjavahl.jar that lives inside
of the core JAR. So I guess you really cannot replace it. I think the
one we ship will be fine anyway.

I will probably ship the 1.4 JAR with the 1.3 DLL's in the next release.
So you would only need to replace the DLL's.
