There are essentially no developers working on svnant. We get the
occasional patch submitted, and some people have done some basic release
management, but no one has stepped up to provide additional docs or even
to answer the mailing list questions.

I have never even tried to use svnant, let alone write any code. I am
just sharing what I know from being around here all the time and managing
the Subclipse and svnClientAdapter projects.

svnant is hosted at the same location because it was created by the same
original developer and it is also based on the same svnClientAdapter layer
for working with Subversion from Java. While I can see why you might seem
a linkage, at the same time an Ant task that had a dependency on Eclipse
or an Eclipse plugin would not make much sense either.
