cannot create local file:/// repository location

Hi,
I've just completed a new install of eclipse 3.1.1 and was unable to
access the local svn repos directly.

subclipse : 0.9.34
eclipse : 3.1.1
jdk : 1.5.0_05 AMD64 Linux
svn : 1.2.3
OS : Linux AMD64

In the SVN explorer prospective creating a new repository location of

        file:///opt/repos

gives the following error

        Error validation location
        "org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException svn:
        '/home/rsk/file:/opt' does not exist"
          Keep location anyway?

This used to work with an older build of eclipse & subclipse -- but I'm
sorry that I haven't kept track of exactly which version numbers they
were.

but using svn+ssh://localhost/opt/repos works fine :)

please cc me as I'm not subscribed to this list, thanks

Cheers
Richard
