Default behaviour of Compare Editor

In the Synchronise view, double-clicking on a file opens it in the
Compare editor.

However, the comparison seems to default to the BASE revision.

I think it would be more useful to default to "Latest from repository".

I know this is available from the Navigator view under the "Compare"
context menu, but it is awkward to get there from the Synch Entry.

Is there a way to change the default revision used by the Compare Editor?
If not, could it be changed to Latest? This is the way that CVS compare works.

If it is desired to keep the BASE comparison, perhaps another
menu-item could be provided in the Synchronise context menu, so that
one could compare with either BASE or Latest.
