"Check out as Project" is only meant for _Eclipse_ projects that were
imported into Subversion. Basically, Subclipse expects, that the
repository contains ".classpath" and ".project" files with appropriate
folders and files. For this to work completely transparently, it is also
recommended, that you use "Variables" in your Java Build paths for any
external libraries the project might require.
